Ditch the Workout...Join the Party!

What is a Zumba fitness class like? It's a very exciting dance party atmosphere full of Latin and international music. You'll forget you're working out with the sexy but simple moves to dance music like Cha Cha, Salsa, reggaeton, rumba and more. Best of all, you don't need any previous dance experience!

It's fun and effective, using interval training combining fast and slow rhythms for an effective aerobic workout while at the same time targetting your legs, abs, glutes and arms.

The workout is basically watch and follow. The moves are repeated often enough for you to catch on and they're not complicated. The routines are repeated week after week with additions every now and then to spice things up even more!

According to the Zumba website, "Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow the Zumba participants to dance away their worries. It is based on the principle that a workout should be 'FUN AND EASY TO DO' in order for Zumba participants to stick to the Zumba fitness program to achieve long-term health benefits. Zumba is not only great for the body, but it is also great for the mind. It is a 'feel happy' workout."

Zumba is very infectious and is definitely the latest, most exciting fitness sensation! What a fun way to workout to lose weight or just become a healthier new you - you'll love the results. Be sure to bring your family and friends to be a part of the Zumba Fitness party! Check out the Zumba website here for more info: http://www.zumba.com/. Happy Zumba-ing :-)

Michelle Lobaton's Fight Against Cancer

My Zumba friends, I need your help with this!

My step-daughter's best friend was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and needs money for a new treatment. Please read her story below:

Please take the time to read. Please help me make a difference.

"To anyone who has ever had or known another person with cancer it is automatic to know that its horrible, it flat out sucks! I am 25 years old and have joined the war of millions in the fight against cancer.

Last year on my 24th birthday I was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer, an angiosarcoma. Only 5 cases of literature were found on my type of cancer in Canada alone just to give you an idea on its rarity. After 6 rounds of chemotherapy and 2 invasive surgeries I was announced Cancer free in December 2008. In August 2009 I returned to the hospital and underwent my third and most devastating surgery to date. I loosed all ability to have or bare my own child, and found out my cancer had come back.

Now I must undergo more chemo for a second time. Chemotherapy is a chemical agent that kills cancer cells, however at the same time I loose my hair and ability to hold down food. I am a skeleton.

My body also looses its immunity. How can I fight cancer without my own immune system? I need both my immune system and the chemotherapy to help me fight this disease.

My answer to this: My doctor has discovered a new treatment regime that helps me in this battle. This includes new medicines that help both my immune system as well as the chemo to kill the cancer cells. Due to outside sources of these meds it has proven to become overwhelmingly expensive.

Unfortunately not all medicines are covered by medicare, however I must be proactive in my recovery and use any means necessary which includes this regime of medication.
This is where I ask anyone and everyone for help. From now until May 1st I will be raising $10,000 Dollars. Please help me make a difference in my life. I will NOT back down, I will NOT give up, I AM a fighter, and I AM a survivor!

Thank you for all your support!
