Ditch the Workout...Join the Party!

What is a Zumba fitness class like? It's a very exciting dance party atmosphere full of Latin and international music. You'll forget you're working out with the sexy but simple moves to dance music like Cha Cha, Salsa, reggaeton, rumba and more. Best of all, you don't need any previous dance experience!

It's fun and effective, using interval training combining fast and slow rhythms for an effective aerobic workout while at the same time targetting your legs, abs, glutes and arms.

The workout is basically watch and follow. The moves are repeated often enough for you to catch on and they're not complicated. The routines are repeated week after week with additions every now and then to spice things up even more!

According to the Zumba website, "Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow the Zumba participants to dance away their worries. It is based on the principle that a workout should be 'FUN AND EASY TO DO' in order for Zumba participants to stick to the Zumba fitness program to achieve long-term health benefits. Zumba is not only great for the body, but it is also great for the mind. It is a 'feel happy' workout."

Zumba is very infectious and is definitely the latest, most exciting fitness sensation! What a fun way to workout to lose weight or just become a healthier new you - you'll love the results. Be sure to bring your family and friends to be a part of the Zumba Fitness party! Check out the Zumba website here for more info: http://www.zumba.com/. Happy Zumba-ing :-)

ZUMBA avec/with Heather Launches Zumba® Fitness Party!
Saint-Anicet is introduced to the Latin-dance inspired phenomenon that is sweeping the world into fitness!

(August 4, 2008 Saint-Anicet, Quebec) – ZUMBA avec/with Heather is blending party fun with fitness by launching Zumba® classes!

Heather Diodati, certified Zumba Fitness instructor, introduced Zumba Fitness on Saturday, July 19th 2008 to the attendees of Saint-Anicet's annual "Festival du Mais" with a half hour demonstration of Latin rhythm styles, in the Zumba Fitness format, such as salsa, merengue, cha cha, belly dancing and finishing with a fun salsa/hip hop.

Also, a contest was held to win a Zumba t-shirt imprinted with the winner's first name. Congratulations to the winner, Mrs. Louise Contant of Laval, who attended the festival and is a weekend regular at one of the local campgrounds.

Diane Miron of Chateauguay said, "It's so much fun, it’s a great workout and you don’t even realize how hard you're working."

Heather Diodati said she wanted to bring something new to the area. "No one was holding Zumba Fitness classes here, and where they were held they were very popular." "You move your body to the music," Diodati said "and the music is so exciting and infectious it creates a fun atmosphere. It's dancing, it's aerobics and it's a great workout; you don't need to even know how to dance at all and the moves are very easy to learn."

Zumba eliminates the "work" from "working out" by combining amazing, irresistible Latin and international music with dynamic, yet simple exercise moves, using its unique interval training format to help participants get fit in a party-like environment. Zumba combines dance and fitness moves for cardiovascular health, toning and strength building.
